Okay, so I finally succombed to boot pressure, for three reasons. My legs are not what they used to be, it is stinking cold outside and it is no fun wearing a dress in winter. Also, I have several skirts that might look better worn with a pair of boots. The only problem is that I feel a little bit out of my comfort zone. I don't necessarily trust my opinion when it comes to fashion and I definitely don't like to stand out. So, I am soliciting the help of those of you, who are the fashion experts.

It was a little bit difficult to take a picture with Taylor, but I got some decent shots.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I could also use some opinions on "how" to wear boots, ie skirt length, style, etc..........

Ooooh, I LOVE them! The buckles are so fun, as is the sassy heel. I told Todd if we got into the DC residency I am owed a pair of boots. So I fully support your decision and am totally proud you went sassy.
One of my favorite things about Europe were the fantastic tights you can buy there and wear with cute boots and skirts. So you should buy some totally fun tights and wear them with a knee-skimming skirt. A skirt that's black or grey or red or . . .. I'm a bit of a shopaholic, so I might not be a good one for advice. ;)
Those boots would also be so fun (and warm!) with a really long wool skirt. And sweaters.
Let me know what you decide.
Also, why am I not surprised Sadie is wearing your shoes? I love that about her.

I think the boots look great. You can really wear them with anything. No velvet though:) I like to wear mine with knee length skirts of every color! Good luck!!
I have not yet entered the realms of bootdom, but think those ones are awesome! Nice job and I think they'd look great with any skirt!
Those are so cute and you can wear them. I really like the buckles on the side. You won't stand out because lots of people wear boots. Go for it!!
Hey! I just bought boots too (black, for myself after Christmas) and love them sooo much, that I just bought another pair (brown this time!). I am waiting for them to come in the mail and can't wait!! I never really thought of myself as a boot girl, but they do keep you really warm and they are so fun to wear! I have worn them with just about anything. Although, they don't really go with brown I have noticed, hence why I am now getting brown!

Oh, you'll LOVE your boots! You need a black and brown pair. You need the taller boots for skirts and shorter boots for pants. You'll be so fasionable and cute! Can't wait to see more pics!
Lovely! Wear the boots with ANY length skirt, in my opinion. I wore them with short skirts all winter (until my feet--and legs--grew). Get some good tights, put on your boots, and you are good to go.
