We decided to get Taylor his own bike, since he is constantly trying to ride both Micah's and Sadie's. He also tries to get out of the house, so he can ride one of the bikes, that we keep in the carport. The other day he took off down the road with Sadie's helmet on. He made it around the corner 3 houses down. A neighbor brought him back.
Needless to say, we now lock the front door (The door has too be unlocked with a key. Taylor can't do that yet). He now has a bike that we have been keeping in the house, to decrease temptation. Although he has tried to ride the bike down the stairs twice.
Also, today I created a bike riding area in our carport by backing the car almost all the way out and putting up two baby gates on both sides of the car. That gives the kids a space to ride around and stops Taylor from taking off.
.
Can you guess what word Taylor is saying? (natah?)

What a fun story about his bike. Nahtah, Sister? or is it Micah?
That's so cute. I love the video of him freaking out when Sadie tries to take him off the bike. Is he learning German? I'd be so impressed. Although baby gibberish always sounds like another language.
Maybe Micah? He is so cute and getting so big!!
wow ... I can't get over how nice your weather seems to be-
glad you are handling Greg's absence well, we'll have to get a full report on what he thought of the boards ... Drew doesn't take 'em til Fall
can't get over how much Sadie has grown into a little girl!
my 2 fought like cats n dogs all winter ... it was driving me nuts ... then they finally just got over it. I have a feeling this cycle will repeat itself for the rest of their childhood though.
guess what ... we live 5 minutes from Legoland here in CA. who knew there was one there too? so cool!
No way. I don't like running away kids. I'm glad you lock the door. If Ethan runs away, we can always rest assured that he'll come screaming back home when he sees a dog!
