Pictures of Italy

Cinque Terra are a group of 5 small villages along the coast of Italy. They are linked together by hiking trails and a train. We visited one of the villages, a fishing village and enjoyed the view and some Italian ice Cream.
We took a coach around Florence. It was a great way to quickly see the city. We went back to the parts of the city that interested us, including the Cathedral.
In Cinque Terra.......
Cooling off on the marble steps of the cathedral....marble is soft and cool.....
Leaning tower in the distance.....

Oh wow. Are you SO excited you get to see these things?? Because most of us don't ever get to. Ever.

Wow. [adding to my list of places to go someday]. I'm just glad you're sharing these experiences so the rest of us can live vicariously through you! And how fun that your kids are old enough to enjoy this!

These pics almost make me want to do a stint overseas ... ah, but then there's the reminder of my kids. There's nothing better than that to bring ME back to reality. We know how my kids are!
Glad you are getting to see all the sights and with grandparents in tow. Looks like a good time.

Deployment update: Drew has just a little over one month left. Scott left last week.
