....also, known as Snow-pacalyspe hit Washington last Sunday. The snow fall was relatively light on Sunday morning, but enough to cancel church. I was happy for the day home and felt we could relax in our comfy house. On Monday, we experienced some snowfall, but it wasn't enough keep us in doors. We packed up the car and drove up to Federal Way to visit cousins. I am glad we did, because the rest of the week we were stuck indoors. School and work were canceled and on Thursday the power went off.
The operating rooms were closed on Wednesday so Greg actually stayed home, which has never happened in any winter in MD or Germany, where snowfall is more frequent. We have many stories of Greg driving to work as a resident alone on the freeway, while the rest of the state is shut down. With work canceled, we enjoyed having a snow day as a family. These pictures are from Wednesday. We spent the morning sledding and making snowballs. Also,Greg had short work days on Thursday and Friday and took the good car, so we stayed home to play it safe.
