Biosphaerenhaus

The slide that really didn't "slide".
The drive home was so beautiful that I took a picture through the windshield. The forest was burgundy. This picture doesn't do it justice.

There was no school for Micah, so my friend Nikki planned an outing for all our kids. We headed south about an hours drive to a town called Fischbach. There they have a place called the Biospherehouse. Inside you can find displays telling about the flora and fauna of this region. They had a lot of hands on activities for the kids. They had a great time.

Outside the adventure continued with a path that climbed up the hillside and continued into the trees. The climax was the slide that brought the kids back to the bottom of the fort. Since the slide was wet, there wasn't much "sliding." Micah had to scoot himself all the way to the bottom.

An obstacle course, that Sadie and I didn't attempt.

That looks cool and scary. My kids would have none of it. But Micah is very brave!

Alex is going to die if he doesn't get to talk to Micah soon. He cried himself to sleep last night over it. Would you send me your phone number?
