The last weekend was very pleasant. It was the perfect balance of relaxing and eventful. We started with morning with exercise (basketball for Greg and I jogged). After getting the kids ready we headed to Homburg, where Greg managed the kids while I shopped for clothes. Yes...that right I finally bought some new clothes. It worked out great. The kids were happy. I had a little time to myself and actually have something new to wear. I have been feeling kind-of cute the last few days. (It has been a long long time since I felt cute).
We came home and had quiet time, aka family naptime. After a nice rest, our friends called and invited us to go to a new outdoor natural pool. We quickly got the kids ready and headed out. The pool is more like a man-made lake. It is very kid friendly, with a large shallow area. The kids dug in the pebbles and splashed in the water, while I chatted with the ladies and Greg with the guys.
We came home and fed the kids a quick pancake dinner and bedtime came right after. We watched an episode of the Office and the Sarah Conner chronicles. The day ended perfectly.

Sounds lovely. I am so glad that you got some clothes that make you feel cute! That's an awesome feeling! :-) Totally worth the $$ Pictures... we want Pictures
Sounds like a nice relaxing day. I love Saturdays that are relaxing with shopping involved that doesn't end in a fight because you bought things. What kind of stores do you get to shop at? Any GAP?
My niece is in Germany right now. I think she is leaving tomorrow though and going to Austria.
Sounded like a great day! Yay for your new clothes and friends to spend the afternoon with!
Oh yippee, you finally got to go shopping! That's nice you found some things you like. It makes such a huge difference to like looking in your closet. Did you go to little boutiques (I don't know what kinds of places they have there; hopefully fun quaint ones) or do they have an Exchange you could use?
Also, that pool sounds awesome! What a fun idea. Hopefully Taylor didn't get any more "ants" on him. Poor kid.
