We have been working with the kids on not waking us up in the mornings. They have a digital clock in their room and have been instructed on not leaving their beds until 7am. For us 7am is sleeping in.....lame, I know. After a couple of times trying to wake us up before 7 and getting in trouble, Micah starting sending Sadie in to do the dirty work. We put an end to that.
Last sunday we heard foot steps bounding up the stairs. The door flew open and a folded piece of paper glided into the room and then we heard foots steps running down to the kids room. I opened up the note and this is what it said:
Mom, Meet me in my bedroom right now.

Too cute to ignore. Okay Micah, you win. You succeeded in getting me out of bed.

LOL Too funny. Technically he didn't do it! The paper did.
I love that he put his initial! How funny! We have the same rule (7am), but inevitably the sound of some type of naughtiness wakes me up before then.:)
So funny! WELL, what was in his room?!!? We have the same rule. I try to remeber everyones kids get up early,but it still drives me crazy!!

such a formal name signing ... guess he'll be the next dr. in the family-
we trained our girls too to stay out of our room until 7 am. usu. one of them comes in at exactly 7:01 am. love it!
Clever...will it still be funny after his 8th time doing it? By then, he'll probably have a few more genius ideas up his jammie-sleeves. Kelly just comes in and snuggles...try to train him to do that.
We are trying to teach Ian that same trick - no luck!
ha! we have yet to successfully establish this rule. we're lucky if it's 6:30 and it's usually much earlier when jared appears bedside. :)
HA!! So cute. I told Jeffy he can't get out of bed until 6:30. But also, he can't bug me, ever, until i get out of bed. Do whatever you want until I get up is good enough incentive for him to leave me alone. If only the baby would play . ..
