While driving in the car the other day:
"Mom what is S-E-X?" Sadie asked spelling the last word.
"Well," I answered, "Where did you see that word?"
"It is on your driving license and there is an F after it." I hadn't realized that Sadie was fumbling through my purse.
"Oh," giving an internal sigh of relief. "That means I am a female, another name for girl. When someone asks your SEX, they are asking if you are a boy or a girl."
"That is not what they say on the BUS."

awesome! i have to say most of my sex education came from riding the school bus as well. proof that our public education system isn't broken, eh?

We are headed to WA next and are leaving tomorrow for MD. We have a layover there for a few days and will be visiting friends and family. Jen, we did find a home in our old Lacey ward. It is a new build, near where you guys used to live. Crazy, huh?
