It was a long weekend and we decided it was time to see some of Germany. Since we have just finished couple of road trips in the U.S, we decided to take it easy and start with some local sights. Across from the church in Kaiserslautern in are a group of gardens. We could see from the side of the road some dinosaur heads poking up from behind some trees. Determined to find out what was there we parked the car and walked up and down the streets trying to find the entrance to this park. After turning around and taking a couple of detours we made it. It cost 15 Euro to get in, but we decided that it was worth it. The park included: a trial with dinosaur replicas, water pumps, huge sandpits, gigantic slides, plenty to keep the kids preoccupied for the rest of the day. The weather was beautiful and we practically had the park to ourselves.
We finished the day with dinner at an Imbiss, curry wurst yum. Here are some pictures of the Japanese gardens. The kids loved walking over the bridges and looking at the huge fish swimming in the water below.

The gardens look beautiful!
looks lovely. Your kids look happy. That is good to see. I don't know why but the picture of them in my mind is all sad and sulky, so it helped me get a new image. :-)
